#EqualChance Campaign
ARCHIVED
ITPO has become official Community Partners with the Institute for Canadian Citizenship on the #EqualChance campaign. This campaign aligns directly with the mission and vision of our organisation and we are happy to help, now in an official capacity!
The Institute for Canadian Citizenship (ICC) is an international charity that champions inclusion through active citizenship and advocacy. The ICC is building an international coalition to create a world where people, policy, and places are inclusive by default.
#EQUALCHANCE – ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN
Despite having met the Canadian standards, internationally trained physicians (ITPs) face undue barriers when trying to practice medicine in Canada. The ICC is launching its #EqualChance campaign, aimed at raising awareness and building support to remove these barriers. The ICC wants to encourage key decision makers and regulators to create an equitable and fair path to medical practice for ITPs in Canada. To learn more visit: inclusion.ca/equalchance and see the media release here.
